Welcome to Woodhall Field, a Motorhome only site located on a small holding in the Wye Valley, an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, one mile south of Trellech and halfway between Monmouth and Chepstow on the B4293. You are surrounded by nature's peace and tranquillity with plenty of wildlife to be spotted and photographed including deer, owls, woodpeckers and many different songbirds and an abundance of butterflies. Every hardstanding pitch is level and well drained with EHU, water, grey waste, and Wi-Fi. Chemical waste and general rubbish disposal are in a self-contained area by the entrance away from the pitches, both accessed on solid paths. Dogs may be exercised on a lead in the meadow. The village of Trellech with its church and award-winning Lion pub is one mile away. Llanishen with its garage and village store is three miles away. Tintern, Monmouth, Raglan and Usk are all a short distance with journeys offering stunning views around the Welsh countryside. The whole area is a walker's paradise with many walks being started from outside of the gate. Christopher and Nicky look forward to welcoming you to Woodhall Field. There is virtually no mobile signal in this area so when you arrive, please connect to our Wi-Fi, searching for “clfield“ and use the password “Motorhomes“ to call us on 01600 460268 to say you have arrived. The Wi-Fi may be used for your general use during your stay but please do not stream as we do not have the necessary bandwidth. You will have been assigned a pitch with your booking confirmation. Please reverse into the designated area so that the lawned area is on your nearside. Provided Services.... Electric Hook Up is by 16Amp socket and fused to 10Amp loading. Fresh water is available on the reverse of the EHU bollard. Grey water drainage is at the foot of the bollard. Elsan effluent disposal is located by the entrance to the field. There is an adjacent tap and hose for washdown purposes. Designated dustbins for waste, glass, cans, plastic are provided. |
